Just a quick question about my ladder set up. I have a A frame ladder and i am having problems with it being to wobbly. Can i get it to sit on the top rail for added support if i use maybe some rubber. I was hoping that i can use the top rail as added support. Would this be ok I have 8 inch.resin top rails. Thanks for the input

I had the same problem before I built my entrance deck, and the pool installation outfit I bought my pool from said not to do it, as you risk buckling the wall. I ended up building a simple frame using 4x4 posts with a 2x6 spanning between the posts, and attaching the ladder to the 2x6. I sunk the 4x4's in the ground about a foot, foot and a half deep, and just packed dirt around them, as I knew it was temporary and didn't want to set them in concrete.
