I am converting my BBB chlorine pool to a Salt water pool and have a question concerning my calcium level reading.

All of my numbers are in line for a SWG pool except the TA which I am bring down by aerating and am currently at 130 heading to 60-80, but using the poolmath app i am getting CSI readings that indicate I am out of balance.

My current CH reading is 160. Should I add some calcium chloride to get the number above 200 or leave it as is.

I have a vinyl liner.

As always, appreciate any assistance.

What is the number? You want your CSI to be negative, it doesn't really matter what the number is in a vinyl pool since you have no plaster to etch. CH at 160 is fine.
