Question about pool lights

Our pool is a little over a year old. It is 18' x 40', 3 bump kidney shape. We have one SAM light in the middle of the 40' long side. We were assured by our PB that one light would be sufficient. Now we have come to the conclusion that it is not, and the shallow end and the deep end are not lit properly. Is it possible to go back and add another light to a vinyl pool, or is that something that needs to wait until we have to replace the liner? Are there other options, like a floating light that could be anchored somehow, to help illuminate the 2 ends? Or am I out of luck?

It is possible to put in a permanent light but it would be a major pain. You would have to lower the water level below the level of the light and also dig under the deck to get access to the back of the pool wall. Replacing the liner isn't really the problem, the issue is getting the wires run to the right spot underground on the dirt side of the wall.
