This is my first time having a pool and going on vacation. What do I need to do to keep my pool maintained while im gone? Do I need to keep the pool pump running the whole time and just leave the clorine pucks in the litte dispenser?
You can get a timer for your pool so the pump does not have to run 24/7 while you are away. Is your pump hardwired or does it plug into an electrical socket? Whether or not you should use the pucks depends on your current CYA level.

found this quickly on the Lowes' Site ~ would imagine they have multiple. An Electrical Storefront would have one, HOme Depot, Probably Farming Shops (Tractor Supply),Hardware store. Fishkeeping supplies to if you strikeout everywhere else, fishkeepers, especially saltwater tanks have to keeps parameters at all costs.
Make sure it's rated for outside, make sure it has the ability to reset the mode if power is interrupted (like alarm clocks do now) & follow the directions.
Have a wonderful vacation!
Amazon, don't know how I forgot that, if you a Prime they will have it to you super quick.
