Pool pad

I have some thick black mats that were used for horse stalls. Can those pads be used under my 16' pool for pad if seemed together with gorilla tape?

Absolutely. Make sure they are clean and dry and gorilla tape away. Triple tape all the seams. You'll be so glad you did it. I used foam panels and love the smooth bottom. And those would definitely hold up just fine since they hold up to the horses weight and hooves.

Thank you for your response, from what I have read a good smooth level bottom seems to be key.

Yes a level bottom is great. But actually the most important part is that the paver blocks placed under each leg aren't more than 1 inch out-of level with each other all the way around.
