Just added CYA yesterday to my skimmer. I’m in the process of balancing out my chemicals and should be able to shock my pool this evening. I’m anticipating killing the algae. Do I then vacuum the pool and backwash soon? Or should I wait to vacuum and backwash allowing the CYA the allotted time it needs to circulate?
