At one point I had quite a lot of bubbles in my pump basket. After new lid and drain plug o-rings there usually are only a few bubbles here and there. So, not so sure the problem is remedied. However, when running my Polaris 360 pressure side cleaner the bubbles are 100% gone. Any idea why running the cleaner would result in zero bubbles?

A few bubbles is fine as long as it doesn't steadily increase. If it increases over time then the suction leak is still there.
