We have algae on the seams of our pool cleaner bag. What is the best way to clean it without destroying the bag? Any help would be appreciated.

I would think a good solution of regular bleach and water (maybe 1/4 ratio) should help if you let it soak for a while then give it a little brushing. If it's good enough for the pool, it's good enough for the bag.
