Just had a Hayward Super Pump model C48K2N143B1 (the bottom left reads SP-1607-Z1-M) finally go on me. We have a kidney shaped in-ground pool with about 19,000-21,000 gallons capacity. Our season here is short so I only run the pool for about two months. I'll be looking to pair it with a Pro-Grid DE 4820. I don't know much about pumps as we inherited the pool a few years ago. My basket set up is in great shape, so I guess I'm just looking to replace the pump motor? I'm looking for a new one ASAP and am looking for suggestions. Thank you.

The wet side usually doesn't go bad, you could replace the motor and move on. Seems to be a good deal listed below.

Your motor is the c48k 1hp round flange motor. Easy to find/replace. The SP1607 is the pump model. Also replace shaft seal.

is your setup 115V or 230V?

I think any of these would work:
Single speed: A.O. Smith 1 HP Round Flange Up Rate Motor - UST1102 - INYOPools.com

Dual Speed: A.O. Smith 1 HP Full Rate Two Speed Motor W/ Timer - Round Flange (B975T,B2975T) - INYOPools.com

Dual Speed: A.O. Smith 1 H.P Round Flange Dual Speed Full Rate Motor W/Out Switch (STS1102, STS1102RV1) - INYOPools.com

Variable Speed: A.O. Smith 1.65 HP Variable Speed Pool Pump Motor Round Flange - ECM16CU - INYOPools.com
(Same price as 2-speed with timer. Seems to be a good deal on sale!)

Shaft seal: Hayward SHAFT SEAL 201 (GENERIC) - AS-1521 - INYOPools.com
