I just bought one for our 14x42 pool. My pump automatically turns on everyday while at work. How do I go about this if the cover is on? Do I remove the cover to add chemicals? If I choose to use a puck dispenser can I still keep it in the water?

It is fine for the pump to turn on and run with the cover on. You can flip the cover back to add chems. A floating puck dispenser? I don't think that would work.

I'm having a hard time keeping the chlorine in the pool with bleach so I've been also using the floating dispenser
