Repair of Plaster

I was installing some tiles on my waterline, and dropped some grout or thin set in the bottom of the pool, which hardened and when I hit with my brush I see a dark spot like the plaster came off and the gunnite is showing. Its about the size of a nickel... what to use to fix it, maybe EZ Patch #1 fs? any ideas. Thank you as always..The pool has been running just great thanks to this forumn.

well I removed the spot with a piece of PVC pipe and ma...strange...

Sounds like the masonry stained the plaster and the acid removed it.
