Measuring & Adding Calcium Hardness Increaser

:? I need to add Calcium Hardness Increaser to the pool, but need to know how to measure by CUPS FULL.... (it was given to us by pb in broken bag & dh put in bucket) Here are my #'s:
FC......3.5
CC.....0
TC.....3.5
pH.....7.5
Alk.....100
Cal.....200
CYA.....20 (but added some today trying to bump to around 40)
Temp...85

I think the range is 200 to 400 and we would like to seek the middle ground, around 300, if you think that is appropriate. Also, I would like to add the increaser to the skimmer, if okay? Thanks in advance. Joyce

To increase your calcium hardness from 200 ppm to 300 ppm you will need to add 17 lbs of calcium chloride according to BleachCalc.

Most powdered chemicals are around 1/2 lb per cup. This can vary by 20-30% depending on how finely ground it is and how much the powder is packed down.
