I currently have a intex 18 x 48 easy set frame pool. I purchased the saltwater filter upgrade, my questions is can i filled the pool and am ready to add salt, the salt the man told us to use is morton solar salt is this salt okay to use in my pool or should i use pool salt. And i add this by placing on pool skimmer and stirring it in the water correct??

Welcome to TFP!!!I always have used solar salt ... much cheaper than so-called pool salt (which is just ground a little finer).
Leave the SWG turned off. Just dump the bags into the pool (NOT the skimmer) and brush (or let the kids play with it). Run pump 24 hours to mix and turn on the SWG.
