Seasonal Temperature/Use?

We have been enjoying our tub since February.

As the weather gets warmer do folks keep the tub temperature above 100 *F , set it lower, or just not use it.

I searched here but was unable to find any info.

A family member with a spa down here in Texas where it gets plenty hot in the summertime tells me that she keeps the temperature turned down in the summer. It only takes a couple of hours or so to get it up to 99-100 with the cover on irregardless of the time of year. Mostly though, since she doesn't have a pool, just a spa, she leaves the heater off in the warmest months and will use it as a place to cool off. A sort of "micro-pool" if you will.

I keep mine hot all year.

I turn mine down to about 90-95 in the Summer.

I have a gas heater, so I let the spa cool between every soak regardless of season.

Don't know where you are, Curmudgeon, but a 90-degree spa is very refreshing when we have a heat wave.
