I am a brand new pool owner and have no clue about the chemicals. What do I need to do to start? I got all kinds of starting chemicals. Which do I use?

read "The ABC's of Pool Water Chemistry" up in Pool School. You must learn about the additions and what each one does. Throwing things into the pool without knowing the affect is an absolute no-no.
