For some reason- I told the guy installing my liner I was going to put about 12lbs of CYA granules in the water. He looked at me like I was crazy and insisted I only needed 1lb. I just said "ok"

One pound only increases your CYA by 4 ppm. I don't think he understands the concept.
To give him a bit of a break I think he saw the little puck floater I threw in and figured I was a full time puck user. I just floated it for now as I can't run the pump yet and any little bit of stabilizer at this point is gravy.
