Propane Heater or Heat Pump?

My current propane heater (Jandy Laars LX400) has died. Need to replace it. Pool details in signature below. I'm in SE Florida. Would like to know whether a heat pump is a better option than another propane heater, given my geographic location.

Mostly looking to heat the spa (see photo here). Would rarely heat the whole pool.

I have an iAquaLink so would prefer Jandy equipment to preserve full control.

Thanks!

Stick with the propane gas and be happier that you didn't switch. Especially if you plan to use mostly on the spa it will provide you with the quickest heat up times.

Consider getting a Raypak/Rheem 266K BTU unit since you are only heating the spa.

All heaters will work perfectly with yours and any control system.
