BTW I added a full bottle of algacide on the 3rd of June but it looks like more blown money.
Be careful. Remember that many of those products contain copper, a metal which when added in enough quantities can react with your chlorine and cause staining of hair to turn green. The only way to remove metal from a pool is replacing the water. :brickwall:

sand filter had sand replace yesterday and this morning pool much improved but still cloudy at deep end brushed some algae or it might have been dirt. Added chlorine this morning. Can I start adding baking soda now?
 
FC every test time with CC every once in a while..........no need to test anything else.

How does the water look today? If there is any green/gray do not add the DE. That is more towards the end to help clear it up. If you are still killing algae it will not be worth your while yet.
