Pump Motor Sizing

When the pool was first installed in 2004 a Hayward Power Flo LX 1.5hp was installed. It ran till 2015 so I replaced it with another Power Flo LX figuring 11 years of service was darn good. Well, the one we installed in April of 2015 is screaming to high heaven with what I am sure is a bad bearing. I don't have the time to tear it down and replace as I am headed out of town. Going to order a new pump to be here for when I get back.

I started doing some reading and it seems that maybe the 1.5 hp motor is a little on the big side for the S190TSCP Dream Line filter.

At what size motor should I be looking? We do run the pump 24 7 so I figure two speed pump running on low would be a money saver though our electricity bill isn't expensive about $50 a month to run the current pump 24 7.

Any input?
