Pool wall crack

My liner ruptured over the winter and wall crinkled a little. I'm about to order a new lined and noticed a 3" split where there's a crinkle. I'd there s way to patch the wall? Is it a major issue. The pool is a resin steel that's about 5 years old.
Thanks

Folks here have repaired that by using a piece of sheet metal on both sides of the wall, pop rivet it all together and use several layers of duck tape to cover the patch on the inside. Welcome.

Holes are one thing. Cracks are another. Post a pic n let's see it.

That looks like frost heave. When the pool wall bulges, it's a high spot in the foundation/base. If it was not like that it is most definitely frost heave and not go away on its own. The pool would need releveled.
