White lines and Scaling on the water level but the test tells me that calcium level is low! Wow. I thought it was gonna be so high.

Can low calcium cause Scaling?

Anyone know a chemical removal/dissolving of whitelines on tiles?

Low calcium, along with low pH and TA can cause etching & dissolving of the plaster. So be very careful about that. In your case, a set of test results might help us give you some more ideas to go on.

Scale on tiles can often be removed with some muriatic acid and a brush or perhaps a pumice stone. Test on a small area first.

It could well be that the Calcium was sky-high and is now attached to the walls. Dissolving it will bring it back into the water and CH levels will rise again.

To get the white crust off at the water line, some 1:4 acid water in a spray bottle should make it fizz up and dissolve. Then you just slosh some pool water on it to rinse it clean. Tough spots get attacked with a pumice stone. Sounds awful but doesn't seem to affect the tiles at all. There will be heaps of pumice dust settling on the floor, though. It's pretty soft.
