Are there reasons to use 1.25" flex hoses instead of 1.5" with a 1hp pump?
I have an older 24ft AGP with a 1HP pump and a DE Filter... I recently purchased new 1.5"x 6' flex hoses to connect the pump and filter to the pool, and noticed that the old ones were in fact 1.25". I tried to search but didn't come up with any information on why to use 1.25" vs 1.5" hoses. I hooked everything up and pressure seems good. Just wondering if there is a reason to use one vs the other. Thank you!
