Backwash using a cartridge filter

There is no multi-port on the cartridge filter.
Is there a way to backwash?

No. Cartridge filters are not backwashed.

Just to follow up. You remove the cartridges and clean them: Pool School - Maintenance and Cleaning of Pool Filters

Crazy... how am I supposed to clean the pool water or waste them etc...

You'll have to have someone plumb a wastewater pipe into your system if you want to be able to vacuum to waste or otherwise remove water without a separate pump. My setup has a pipe with a hose spigot on it. Not ideal, but better than nothing.

Mine does as well. The one time I needed to remove some water from the pool I just hooked up a regular garden hose to the hose bibb.
