I live in Houston and we are being hit with another round of rain storms and flooding. My pool is to the brink of overflowing. I have tried using a water hose to drain the pool ( I only accomplished getting a massive headache from sucking on the other end) without success. I tried draining the pool from the drain plug but could not find the attachment. If I remove the hose from the pump filter to drain about 3-4 inches will it cause a problem (the filter is off)? We are in for another 3 days of rain.
