CYA and SWG

Hi all

My CYA is sitting around 50 at the moment. It appears that is low for a SWG pool. Am I right to try and push this a little higher?

You will find you can turn down (or run shorter) your SWG if you get that up a little higher, but the effect may not be as pronounced in Canada compared to hot Texas.

I am only running at 50% on the generator, and monitoring chlorine daily shows it is holding around 3 ppm...part of me is in the "if it ain't broke, don't fix it realm of things..."!

Yep, if you find you start using more chlorine you can always raise it later.

We got about halfway into our pool yesterday and gave up. SWG says it's 82. That's TOO COLD. Maybe if the real temps were here it would be fine but when it's 80 degrees outside, that's not warm enough.
