My second season with this pool so first opening.
It was nasty and deep green.
I got it mostly cleaned still a bit foggy 2' visibility and a light green color.

Just got the TF Test Kit.
Ran the tests.

CC- 5ppm
CL <10
PH- >6.8
CH 200 ppm
TA- 100
CYA- 60

Let me know what you think.
Just added 2lbs of Baking Soda
Got the filter running a lot and backwashing frequently.

Thanks for the help

Dave

Welcome to TFP Dave! Glad you have the TF-100. :goodjob: As for your numbers ......... we know you need to SLAM since it's still cloudy, so....
- Increase pH to about 7.2 (orange). Use borax or baking soda if you have it.
- Do not add anymore baking soda to raise TA
- Based on a CYA of 60, your SLAM FC should be 24. You must raise FC to 24 and keep it there as much as possible until you pass the 3 SLAM criteria (SLAM link below).

So after you adjust pH to 7.2, focus on FC testing regularly to stay at 24. Once the water starts to look better, you can check CC more often. Save the overnight (OCLT) as the vey last step of the SLAM. Good luck!
