Pool Remodel in So Cal Colorscapes VS Mini Pebble

We are almost two months into our pool remodel. We were originally quoted for colorscapes, but are now thinking of doing mini pebble. Would someone please advise if $3000 more to do it is the right cost and worth it. We have a smaller pool, 74' and a 23' spa with 5 1/2 ft deep end. Any help would be much appreciated. Thank you.

Upgrades to higher level plaster products generally go up in increments of several thousand dollars. Doesn't sound ridiculous. As to being worth it, tough call and very personal. Appearance is personal. A pebble product will last longer that a quartz product on average.
