Sta Rite Max E Therm heater question

My son who builds pools recently gave me a Sta Rite SR400 that came off a job he was doing. Since the price was right I decided to replace my 20 year old heater which has been dead for at least 5 years. A warning in the Sta Rite manual states

"Operating this heater continuously at water temperatures below 68° F.
(20° C) will cause harmful condensation and will damage the heater and
void the warranty."

I'm going to use the heater to extend the season (Georgia) only and not for swimming on sub 40deg days and I don't want to close the pool for the winter (cover pool, heater off but keep pump running to avoid freeze). Since the pool water will get below 68deg I was looking for clarification - if the pool heater is off with the pump running and temp below 68deg will harmful condensation occur?

Thanks for any suggestions
