Intelichlor flashing continously green yellow and red light

It is supposed to stop after 2 minutes- ours will not stop flashing- tests show chlorine and free chlorine high and the cell light is off. Why is it continuously flashing- we have a salt pool and I am unfamiliar with this system. Can someone direct me in the right direction to get this fixed and to have the lights stop continuously flashing? What am I missing?

Without knowing your model, I suspect that flashing green indicates low salt. Do you have a test kit with salt test?

I bought a regular test kit at Lowes- should I get a special one?

For ongoing maintenance of your pool, yes you would be well served to have a good test kit. But right now, do you have the ability to check your salt ppm? I'm guessing your SWG is trying to tell you it is low on salt. If it got too low to produce chlorine it would most likely stop flashing green and show a red light indicating it was no longer producing chlorine.
