What to do while waiting for Test Kit

I need some advice.

I haven't opened my pool yet (new pump and equipment pad going in... long story, will post pics when done). I still have a blue tarp on it.

I wanted to go TFPS this year, but my test kit hasn't come in yet. I don't want to wait any longer before I open the pool, and I don't want to get pool stored.

The water is perfectly clear, but with this weather it might not be long.
I was going to throw my submersible pump in just to move the water around a bit.

Any advice on what to do until my kit arrives and I can slam?

I was thinking of getting my water tested at the pool store then just saying thank you and leaving....

Advice?

How long until you have the kit? On a pool as large as yours as long,as you have water flow you could,add a bottle of bleach each day just to keep chlorine in the water.

If your filter isn't running, 1 gal bleach each day and brush to stir it up

I agree with the others, a gallon a day until you can get a test kit.

I already tested out the sample sizer and speed stir. [emoji2] I showed my wife. She was... Unimpressed.

Funny! I don't have a speed stir and when the hubby watches me test, he always suggests that there must be an easier way to do the mixing....

Let her try it with the swirl.... It is humorous to watch someone swirl the first time. Sometimes their hips even do a little dance. It takes a LOT of practice to swirl and drop and count and swirl!
