Is there any reason that I could not throw a bunch of glow sticks in the pool at night for a cool effect? (as long as none are leaking?)

They're sealed so that the stuff inside can't leak out, and they're plastic, and will likely float, so there shouldn't be any problem with them in the pool. They will likely end up in the skimmer or the kids will start tossing them around and they'll end up over the fence. :lol:
The big question is how many glow sticks will it take to light up a pool? And don't do that Owl and Tootsie Roll thing and just say "3".

Be careful with the skinny cheap ones found at dollar stores, etc., they break easily. I don't know what's in them if it's toxic or not.
