he asked me what a swg was....i told him...no answer...guess he doesn't install them...researching to diy but out heater sits about 6 inches away from outer wall...would we have to drill through it to install? any ideas?

There are many SWGs that can be owner installed if you're the least bit handy. You just have to have the right place to put it.

You should have room in there to install a SWG, here is a chart of the different one, I really like my curcupool but any of them will work great, some better than others
