Greetings,

we have received the new pump and are now in the installation process. However, we ran into a situation concerning the pipes and we wonder if you have some advice to help us out of this pickle.

The old pump was a Northstar and the pipes coming from the pool are 1-1/2". The new pump supports 2" pipe but we gt a reducer for that. The problem is on the existing pipes and since it is way too difficult to explain, I attaching photos. Certainly we hope not to have to dig the whole thing out and start again....

I hope the photos show. Let me know what questions you may have.

Thanks.

Miriam

I had a similar problem when I installed a new pump. Fortunately I own a lathe and was able to turn a pvc sleeve, inside coupling, to modify the piping. I don't know if you can buy something like that or perhaps you know someone who can make one for you.
