I have a Hayward 1.5hp super pump. I also have a Pentair CCP 420 filter assembly & I have a Hayward C3025 filter assembly. Which filter assembly would be better to run with my pump? I am new to the pool game. I thought bigger is better but am being told that the Hayward is closer to the GPM in turn being the better option of the 2. Thanks in advance for your help.
If it matters my pool is 18'x40' 3.5' deep in the shallow & 8.5' in the deep end. It's also a concrete pool & the pump is 5' from the pool.

Bigger will allow you to go longer between cleanings.
100 sq ft bigger than the Hayward..
