Just installed my DIG-220 and noticed that under the temp and salt calibrations settings were not at 0 from the factory. Temp = +2 and Salt = -14%
Is it possible the factory tested and calibrated/adjusted settings for ship? The unit really looked new and not a return.
Temp is off a few degrees from my surface floating thermometer, but I would assume the water temp would be a little different from the surface vs what the DIG-220 is reading through it's sensor in the plumbing.
DIG-220 reports salt at 3200 or 3300ppm depending when I look at it. I did a K-1766 drop test and came back with 3000ppm. Also did a Aquachek strip test and came back with just barely 2830ppm.
PoolMath said 22x40lb bags should get me 3000ppm based on 35000gal water. I stopped at 20 bags to check, good thing I did.
Anyone ever notice their DIG-220 pre-calibrated?
Thanks.
