We drained the pool...again. And we now have a CYA of 50!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! However, in doing so we seriously tweaked the rest of our chemicals.

FC - 3.5
CC - .5
PH - 7.2-7.5
CH - 155
TA - 50
CYA - 50

Pool math recommends the following:
38 ounces of 10% bleach
187 ounces of CH
56 oz of baking soda

So here are my questions...
1. A stupid question because I never did good in math. When it says 187 oz by weight or 149 oz by volume it means you would use a scale for the first one and a measuring cup for the second correct?
2. In what order do I add these items?
3. How long do I wait between adding chemical types?

Thanks!

What does you water look like?

1. Yes
2. It does not make a lot of difference. FC first, then the CH, and baking soda. I would not raise the TA above 80ppm.
3. 15 minutes is likely plenty.
