reducing chlorine to 0

I need to do an Ascorbic Acid treatment. My pool company just opened the pool for me and I told them not to add chlorine, but when I tested today the free chlorine level is 2.0. How do I reduce it to 0 so that I can do the AA treatment? It is still too cold to swim in CT so I want to do this now and have the pool ready in a couple of weeks!:cool:
