Cement pond be gone

I'm helping my my senior citizen mom get off the pool store Merry go round and your tips are great.

Pool started as a cement pond, replaced pump, cleaned filter cartridge (new one on order) started brushing, skimming and adding bleach.

Got water tested (results below) and looking for specific guidance now. Was dark green algae filled, now it more turquoise, a little opaque and with a bit of froth.

Is it time for a SLAM?

If you really want to help, invest in one of the Recommended Test Kits and stop trusting pool store testing.

You can not SLAM without the proper FAS-DPD test kit.
