Best way to connect these hoses to new multi-port?

Flex pvc should not be clamped onto fittings. Use MTAs in the multiport and glue the flex into the MTAs. You might need to use couplings, 90s or 45s to make everything work.

What is an MTA?
I have a bunch of connectors like this, not sure if that is what you are referring to?

Should the hose in the bottom picture be glued as well? Not quite sure what material that is, it is the hose from pump to filter

Also, is there a specific glue I should use? I have been looking through the forums but found nothing too concrete. Looks like regular PVC cement will work?

MTA means schedule 40 pvc male threaded adapter. The mta threads into the multiport and the pvc pipe glues into the socket.

Only flex pvc should be glued. Other hoses use clamps.
