Hi Guys,

I'm hoping someone may have run into this before. My pump is scheduled to come on from 8:30 am to 8:30 pm. This morning the pump turned on and after about 15 minutes the actuator began to turn to send the water to the solar panels. It looks like it got about 1/2 way between then stopped with a high pitched whine. I pulled the top of the actuator off and the round motor part was really hot. I could turn the valve manually so I don't think thats the problem. What would be the next step for trouble shooting?

The whine is on both 1 and 2 on the little switch.

Any thoughts would be appreciated. This setup has been wonderful since I dialed it in...

Thanks,

Rob

Looks like it is the motor for sure. Took it off gave it power and it is seized both ways. I have ordered a new one but are there replacement motors available so I can repair this and have a s a backup?
