Hi! I'm Cricket from Kentucky and we recently signed a contract for a new pool! We'll be getting a saltwater vinyl liner pool this July. I've never had a pool so it's all new to me. I am so excited and have really enjoyed this website. I've found it so useful and helpful already!

If you've learned anything at all here, it should be: Get your own test kits and trust your results.

I'd go even farther and say, tell the pool builder to beat it as soon as the pool is full and the water is circulating and you see no leaks anywhere. With fresh tap water, balancing the pool well enough to jump in can be done in half an hour or so. Completely ready to start the SWG in less than three days. Don't let some clown dump a bucket of some kind of chemical in because "that's what they always do." Take control of the chemistry from the start and you'll be so much better off.
