What about metals?

So far I'm completely focused on bleach, cya and acid and I'm crystal clear (my alkalinity and calcium hardness have been just fine in the first 4 days). However, I remember the pool company giving me some magic jacks stain remover and then I've seen some threads about iron and copper.

I am using well water through a water softener system (ion exchange) and have been filling with a hose.

How will metal issues present themselves, if I were to have a problem? Or a stain, I guess I would see that?

just curious what to expect.

The most common metal from a well is iron. It will show up as brown water or stains in the plaster.

Great thank you. Once I get more familiar and comfortable with the TFP process I'll have my softened well water tested for iron and consider a regular dose of a sequestrant if someone is high.
