Can't get rid of these clear "flakes"

Have had them for a while now, backwashEd the pool last week and had it tested today with perfect results. Pool store wasn't much help, I've attached picture. Thanks in advance

I have the same things. It is from something growing. You can use a skimmer socks to help catch them. Search Amazon for disposable hair nets for cheap ones.

That does look like some kind of pollen

I also have to say the top photo is from a pool store, I bet your stabilizer (CYA) is over 100, would you like to test your own water? We see so many problems from people not testing their own water..

Lots of folks are reporting that exact pollen issue this year for some reason. Make sure your skimmer is drawing water well, and a skimmer sock is useful too.
