In Ground Pool Re-surface - Suggestions? Central Florida

So, I'm just beginning the research - had an original diamond-brite quartz at my house in the 90's and that was okay; current pool is 30 years old with original "good" marcite plaster.

Everyone I talk too says pebble tec - but I'm looking for SMOOTH surface.

Any advice?

What he said. Or go for glass beads - beadcrete / jewelscapes. A little pricey.
