Thanks, for dropping by. I have been lurker around here for quite sometime while trying to figure how to
A. build a pool in my small back yard and
B. how to convince my wife we should do it.
The major issues that I have faced are limited access 45" between my house and fence and the slope of my backyard.

So what I came up with is a 15 x26x 54" ABG pool. After I carve out my yard 30" down on the high side The pool will sit level with the deck that will come out off the house.

I found some equipment that would fit and rented it for a day and got started.

dug a hole and then compacted crusher dust final level to build on.
Since I am doing this myself work is somewhat slow but I hope to have the pool and deck finished by July.

Welcome to TFP!! I look forward to watching your progress. Let us know if you have any questions along the way and we encourage you to check out Pool School during your rest/recovery times of your building process. We'd love to help you learn how to manage your pool water cheaply and easily, the TFPC (Trouble Free Pool Care) way.

Got the wall up twice

and the liner and was able to start filling.

then UPS was kind enough to drop a couple of these off.

I hope to pick up the rest of the backordered fittings and get it plumbed this weekend. Then I can start on the deck portion of this project.
