My wife and I bought our house in foreclosure and the pool was a swampy mess. Got it cleaned out, put an aluminum fence around it and hired a guy (recommended by a neighbor) who cut me a deal on a liner install. Long story short, I ended up with a liner that was too small that pulled away in a corner and parts missing from my pool light. I saved enough money to buy a pool safety cover but it wasn't worth it.
