Is an Ionizer worth the investment? In-line VS floating matter much?

No. Not needed and can cause staining issues. Waste of money.

The best way I can sum it up is that an ionizer is like paying to have more problems with your pool.

Based on my research, there are models that can be plumbed into an existing system, and models that float in the pool. Understand?

Hello,

Is an Ionizer worth the investment? In-line VS floating matter much?

Disconnected mine last year after the same question I posted on the board.
Plugged the port where the flex tube connected with a vacuum plug.
Frees up another electrical outlet.
Never looked back and pool water results are same as before using the TFP method.I was upsold during pool purchase from local installer/store.
