How to add Boric acid from Chemistrystore.com

guys could use your help...I'm up to 20-25 ppm using borax and MA...now I am going to top it off to 40-50ppm using 15 lbs of boric acid ordered from the Chemistrystore...my question is can I add this through my skimmer, similar to CYA or do I sprinkle around the pool and brush?

It dissolves very well so I just added it over a return flow in the deep end and then brushed any smaller amount that settled to the bottom.

The best thing is probably to distribute it across the surface of the pool and then brush when you are done. It should dissolve quickly and not leave much of anything to brush up, but brush anyway just to be sure.
