SWG when to turn back on

This is our 3rd year with our new pool. This has been an adventure and we learn something new each year. I am excited to be with trouble free pools and have read many things and just this day joined you.
Our question is: I have a low salt level and have added sufficient amount required. However, when do I turn the SWG back on?

Thank you,
Mimirocks

Its a good idea to have your own way of testing the salt level as sometimes the SWG is far off. You wouldn't want to waste money adding salt when it isn't needed, and likewise you might not be getting the chlorine production you need if your salt level is too low.

Taylor's K-1766 Salt level test kit is what I use. I personally have found the strips unreliable although others have used them without problem.
