So upon opening the pool this year I went to turn the heater on and immediatly the service heater light came on. I popped the casing open and found mice. Did not appear there were any chewed wires after inspection. I remove the top cover and the AFS light was on. I tried to jump the connectors to bypass the afs. after bout 30 seconds the blower is seen kicking on and off withing a second and the "service heater" light comes on again.

Trying to see where i should go from here.

It should be noted that the blower motor housing gets very hot when the unit is left on even though the blower is not rotating.
